• Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said the development follows month-long meticulous investigations of backward and forward linkages into the arrest of a local drug peddler identified as Prince Kumar of Amritsar. He was arrested after recovery of 14,500 intoxicant tablets.

• For the study, 12 years of data was analysed across Victoria, NSW and Queensland. A total of 5,589 intussusception cases were recorded between January, 2010 and April, 2022. Of those, 3,179 were children under the age of two.

• Plain abdominal radiography reveals signs that suggest intussusception in only 60% of cases. (See the images below.) Plain radiograph findings may be normal early in the course of intussusception.
